About the role
We're looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with strong SAP landscape administration skills and hands-on experience supporting secure SAP environments. Key responsibilities: Install, configure, administer, and support SAP ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, BW, Solution Manager, and related SAP components.Install, configure, and administer SAP HANA and supported databases, including Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, and MaxDB.Perform SAP installations, upgrades, kernel patching, system copies, OS/DB migrations, and SAP landscape maintenance.Configure transport management, RFCs, background jobs, monitoring, backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.Troubleshoot system, database, connectivity, and availability issues while collaborating with infrastructure, database, development, and functional teams.Support SAP security administration by managing users, authorizations, secure RFC connectivity, authentication, and secure system configurations. Key requirements: Strong hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP HANA, NetWeaver, BW, and Solution Manager.Experience with SAP installation and lifecycle management tools, including SWPM, SUM, SAPinst, Maintenance Planner, and SAP Host Agent.Good knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows administration, SAP HANA, transport management, monitoring, backup, recovery, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.Experience supporting SAP infrastructure security, including user and access administration, authentication, SSO/SNC, certificates, secure RFC configuration, and SAP security best practices.Experience working with cross-functional teams and supporting secure, stable, and highly available SAP landscapes.
