Job Title: Communication Engineer Location: Mumbai Duration: 1 Year (Extendable) Work Schedule: 5 Days/Week (8 Hours/Day) We are seeking an experienced Communication Engineer with strong expertise in plant communication systems to support large-scale oil & gas projects. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain plant communication systems across industrial facilities. Manage and support: Communication buildings and structured cabling systemsFiber optic networks and industrial Ethernet infrastructureRadio and wireless communication systemsTelecom systems for office and plant environments Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of: PAGA (Public Address & General Alarm) systemsIndustrial security systems including IDAS and Siren interfacesEnsure effective integration and redundancy of communication systems with:Process automation systemsElectrical substation automation systemsFiber optic connectivity across plants, wells, and central communication hubsCoordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless communication network integrationEnsure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and company guidelines Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or related field Minimum 812 years of experience in communication engineering within oil & gas / industrial projects. Strong expertise in: Fiber optic systems, industrial Ethernet, and structured cabling.Telecom systems and wireless communication networksPAGA and industrial security systemsProven experience in system integration and network redundancy design Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working on Aramco projects or similar Middle East EPC projects.Familiarity with Aramco engineering standards and specifications.Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and stakeholder coordination skills. Key Deliverables: Timely deployment and integration of communication systems.High system reliability and redundancy across plant operations.Compliance with all project and safety standards. Additional Notes: Candidates with previous exposure to large-scale gas or refinery projects will be given preference.Immediate availability or short notice candidates preferred for faster mobilization.
