About the role
Job Overview : As an EHS Specialist within the Support & Maintenance team, you will focus on various applications, particularly SAP EHS. Your role will involve designing and implementing necessary evolutions and improvements to ensure business continuity. This includes writing functional specifications for developers, testing, validating, and documenting customizations and development changes. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Client IT organization, product managers, and HSE experts to analyze business and functional requirements and propose solutions for EHS processes. You may also participate as a project member or Project Manager in the implementation of project solutions across all project phases. To excel in this position, you must possess strong technical skills within SAP EHS as well as basic functional knowledge of applicable regulations within the chemical industry. Your expertise should encompass key areas such as Product Safety, SDS Authoring and distribution, Expert Rules, Dangerous Goods Management, SVHC, and SVT (Substance Volume & Tracking) and PCN (Poison Control Notification). Additionally, having a basic understanding of software development and interfacing tools will be beneficial to your success in this role.
