Product Lead - Management & General Accounting

As an individual contributor at Arcesium, a Financial Technology and Professional Services Firm, you will be joining a cross-functional product team in the Hyderabad/Bangalore/Gurgaon office. This team is focused on building the core accounting product offering of the platform used by sophisticated hedge funds. Your role will involve defining and designing the next generation of products, collaborating with industry experts, and contributing to the product development process. Key Responsibilities: - Carry the product/feature from concept to creation - Brainstorm product/feature and its value proposition to the client base - Distill the vision into documents such as product roadmap and product/feature specification through domain deep dives, gathering requirements, and business analysis - Collaborate closely with engineers/architects to translate the Product Specification to design and implementation - Prepare comprehensive business test cases/beds to support the engineering process - Evaluate the progress of product/feature-in-flight rigorously and continuously using test cases/beds to ensure compliance with the specification and vision - Create prototypes using Python and AI - Track and analyze risks/assumptions - Proactively address issues and mitigate execution risks - Conduct competitor analysis Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in front, middle, or back-office space with a minimum of 2+ years in product management - Technical skills: - Understanding of Java concepts for effective communication with the development team - Knowledge of Distributed Systems concepts to understand project requirements - General knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases for data-related discussions - Experience collaborating closely with engineers - Outstanding academic background and a passion for high-tech software development environment - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Critical thinking abilities and the capacity to articulate ideas and influence stakeholders - Ability to multitask, manage multiple lines of execution with attention to detail and quality - Resourcefulness, domain expertise, creativity, and execution prowess - Graduate degree in software engineering - Advanced knowledge in the field of Trade Accounting and operations or Certifications in financial domain such as MBA, CFA would be advantageous - Hands-on experience in using and integrating various AI tools for product development is a plus Arcesium and its affiliates are committed to diversity and do not discriminate in employment matters.
