Product Lead - Portfolio Accounting

As a Product Lead at UBOR, you will play a crucial role in carrying the product/feature from concept to creation. Your responsibilities will include brainstorming product/feature ideas and defining their value proposition to our client base. You will distill the vision into documents such as product roadmap and product/feature specifications by conducting deep dives into the domain, gathering requirements, and performing business analysis. Collaboration with engineers/architects to translate the Product Specification into design and eventually into the product itself will be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will prepare comprehensive business test cases/beds to aid the engineering process and rigorously evaluate the progress of product/feature-in-flight to ensure compliance with the product/feature specification and vision. Proactively identifying and mitigating execution risks, conducting competitor analysis, and escalating issues when necessary are also part of your responsibilities. Your qualifications for this role include: - Ability to code in Python is a must - Fluent with LLMs and agentic tools for research and analysis - Working knowledge of Fixed income asset classes and related concepts like amortization, loan settlements, etc. - Demonstrates high agency, critical thinking, and proactive problem-solving - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Ability to multitask and manage multiple lines of execution with attention to detail and quality - Certifications in financial domain such as CA, CFA will be an added advantage - Experience in front, middle, and/or back-office space will be beneficial - Fund accounting and journal entries knowledge is a plus - Experience working closely with engineers - Outstanding academic background & passion for high-tech software development - Personal maturity, collaborative attitude, resourcefulness, domain expertise, creativity, and execution prowess Arcesium is a global financial technology firm that values intellectual curiosity, proactive ownership, and collaboration among colleagues.
