About the role
As an Automation Tester at Arcitech AI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our products through automation testing. You will collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and QA teams to translate requirements into test scenarios and implement scalable automation frameworks. Your responsibilities will include: - Participating in client discussions to understand testing and automation needs - Translating functional and technical requirements into automation-ready test scenarios - Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python, Selenium, and Pytest - Building scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and WebSocket testing - Performing REST API validation using Postman and Swagger - Developing automated API test suites using Python and Pytest - Executing WebSocket test scenarios including real-time validations, latency checks, and connection stability - Conducting functional, UI, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing - Logging, tracking, and retesting defects using tools such as Jira or Zoho Projects - Conducting load and stress testing using JMeter for APIs and WebSocket-based systems - Researching and experimenting with AI tools to enhance automation coverage - Participating in daily stand-ups and QA sync meetings - Communicating risks, blockers, and progress effectively - Preparing reports on automation execution, defect trends, and performance metrics You should have strong proficiency in Python, experience with Selenium for UI automation, hands-on experience with Pytest framework, exposure to WebSocket testing, familiarity with CI/CD tools, and basic SQL knowledge (preferred). Soft skills such as strong communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, ownership, and accountability are essential.
