In this role, you will
-
Drive process efficiencies through lowering costs and improving quality. This is done through teaming with various plant and corporate resources and using standardize problem solving tools - Organizing, leading and facilitating cross-functional R&D initiatives for Rolled Products in the casting and melting/recycling areas. - Training and upskilling plant engineers to improve their ability to provide support in their home casthouses. - Improve ingot casting recovery at our three Rolled Products North America locations by helping with practice development and consistency - Educate casthouse operators and engineering personnel on ingot casting best practices - Support organic improvements in casthouse capacity beyond just recovery, including improving set up times and workflow around the ingot pit - Drive best metal quality practices to ensure a consistent, suitable product out of the ingot plant - Use available casting/recovery data systems to drive the biggest impact in improving casthouse productivity

Also note: - Travel required 25-50% of the time. At times, international travel may be required. - Relocation packages are available for this position. - You may be based in Alcoa, TN, Davenport, IA or Lancaster, PA for this role. On-site work is required.
