Arconic is currently in search of Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering group based in Lafayette, IN.

Support and improve electrical, controls, and automation systems for extrusion production equipment. • Lead electrical equipment upgrades, control system modernizations, installations, and facility expansion projects. • Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for electrical assets. • Manage CAPEX budgets, project schedules, and implementation activities. • Coordinate work with maintenance personnel, contractors, OEMs, and vendors. • Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, motion control, and instrumentation issues. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and energy efficiency. • Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and safety teams to achieve operational goals. • Support electrical system design, documentation, and standards development. • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
