Mechanical Technical Specialist

In this role, you will

• Adhere to Arconic EH&S, quality, continuous improvement and other company policies - Act as direct support of the Maintenance Organization - Work in tandem with craft employees - Act as a resource for technical guidance to manufacturing personnel - Respond to trouble calls on a 24/7 basis - Assist in the design of manufacturing processes and procedures - Assist in overseeing and executing downtime work on small and larger projects - Assist in justification of new equipment & ensuring that rebuilds and spares are sent for repairs or are ordered - Be involved with continuous improvement initiatives of manufacturing methods - Use lean manufacturing tools and principles to improve work, actively support and participate in problem solving (5c’s and 8 step problem solving) - Interface with other manufacturing departments to address and resolve technical issues - All other tasks and duties as assigned. Also note: - This position will require frequent shift and weekend line/maintenance support. Travel can be up to 10%. This position is eligible for relocation benefits. This role reports to the Maintenance Superintendent.
