Staff Developer

About the Role As a Staff Developer, you'll take a leadership role in designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services that power our cybersecurity solutions. You'll mentor junior developers, drive architectural decisions, and work closely with front-end engineers, security teams, and DevOps to create robust and efficient systems. What You'll Do Accelerate Application Development: Rapidly develop new applications leveraging a robust existing enterprise platform Build to scale : Design and develop highly scalable software with optimal performance Lead Feature Innovation: Drive the development of new features and improvements in a dynamic and evolving environment Collaborate for Customer Value: Partner effectively with Product Management, Design, and QA to deliver cutting-edge solutions and direct customer value End-to-end Contribution: Work across multiple layers of our technology stack, with a primary focus on backend development and DevOps What You Bring Deep Java Expertise: 10+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong preference for experience within enterprise cloud software companies Quality-Focused Code: Proven ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code within a collaborative team setting Open-Source Proficiency: Hands-on experience with a range of open-source technologies including Spring, PostGres, Maven, Git, Mockito, Tomcat, Linux, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes Relational Database: experience with relational databases and expert-level SQL skills Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and contribute to a positive and high-performing team environment Excellent communication skills: A good communication is the key to perform the role better. Bonus Points for Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS) and cloud-native architectures. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) . Strong experience with Git for version control.
