We are looking for an experienced and hands-on HRIS Manager Workday Lead to manage, optimise and continuously improve Workday and connected HR systems globally. This role will support Workday HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Performance, Benefits, Reporting, Security, EIBs, Integrations and US Payroll-related processes. The role is ideal for someone who has strong Workday functional experience, understands HR processes end-to-end, can work with senior HR stakeholders, and can convert business requirements into scalable Workday solutions, reports, integrations, testing plans and user guides. Role Purpose The HRIS Manager Workday Lead will act as the functional owner for Workday support, configuration, reporting, annual HR processes, data quality, integrations and continuous improvement. The role will partner with HR, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Finance, IT, vendors and regional HR teams to ensure Workday remains accurate, secure, user-friendly and aligned to business priorities. Key Responsibilities Workday Functional Support and Configuration - Analyse, design, configure, test and support Workday functionality across enabled modules. - Support Workday HCM, Absence, Performance & Development, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Security, Business Processes, Report Writer, EIBs and US Payroll-related processes. - Provide hands-on support for Workday issues, enhancements, configuration updates and process improvements. - Participate in Workday release cycles, including impact assessment, regression testing, documentation and stakeholder communication. Compensation, Bonus and Advanced Compensation - Support annual compensation review, bonus process, merit/SIP cycles and manager compensation access requirements. - Configure and support Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation processes, including bonus targets, allowance plans, salary ranges, eligibility rules, compensation planning and calibration support. - Partner with Compensation & Benefits teams to ensure accurate reporting, data validation and process readiness. Reporting, Analytics and Data Quality - Design and develop Workday reports that are secure, visually clear and easy for end users to interpret. - Build and maintain reports using Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, business objects and data validation logic. - Own HRIS data quality, accuracy, timeliness and usability across Workday and related interfaces. - Support regular and ad hoc reports for HR, Compensation Managers, HRBPs, Payroll, Finance and senior leadership. Integrations and Vendor Management - Support Workday integrations with ATS, payroll, benefits, travel, leaver reporting and other HR technology platforms. - Work with IT, AMS partners and vendors to troubleshoot integration issues and ensure appropriate testing before production deployment. - Manage relationships with Workday, AMS partners and other HR system vendors, including service quality follow-up and issue resolution. Benefits, Payroll and Regulatory Processes - Provide HRIS support for US Benefits enrolment, US Payroll-related processes, ACA/regulatory reporting and issue resolution. - Support benefits administration processes, including enrolment cycles, eligibility rules, benefit plans and third-party integration issues. - Partner with regional HR and payroll teams to capture country-specific requirements accurately in Workday. HR Process Improvement and Automation - Recommend HR process improvements and system enhancements to improve automation, self-service and employee/manager experience. - Support HR lifecycle processes including recruitment-to-hire, onboarding, job changes, objectives, performance, probation, leavers and reporting. - Create and maintain process guides, training materials, testing scripts and user documentation. Team and Stakeholder Management - Build trusted relationships with HR, Payroll, Finance, Compliance, IT, senior management and regional HR teams. - Explain technical Workday concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. - Manage, develop and support HRIS team members / Workday analysts where applicable. - Lead assigned HRIS projects end-to-end, including planning, stakeholder alignment, execution and delivery tracking. Essential Skills and Experience - Minimum 8- 12 years of overall HRIS / HR Technology / HR Systems experience. - Minimum 8 years of hands-on Workday systems support and configuration experience. - Configuration experience in Workday HCM, Performance & Development, Absence, US Payroll, US Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Security Groups, Business Processes, Report Writer and EIBs. - Good knowledge of Workday integrations and downstream impact analysis. - Experience supporting annual processes such as performance evaluation, compensation review, bonus process, benefits enrolment and regulatory reporting. - Experience in analysing, cleansing and validating large volumes of HR data. - Strong knowledge of HR employee
