Job Responsibilities and Skills: • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal instruction and provide technical support to others • Knowledge of internal combustion engines • Ability to communicate technical information effectively at all levels of the business • Experience of C/C++, Matlab and Simulink • Experience of complex Electronics and Controls system concept generation including drafting block diagram controls for simulation assessment • Extensive understanding of control algorithms and logic • Experience of modelling complex systems, and the use of simulation tools to make confident predictions • Knowledge of heavy duty machine applications • Product validation (FMEA, DVP&R, Data analysis) • Product sign-off and report documentation • Extensive knowledge mathematics, data analysis, numerical modelling and statistics • Experience of design of experiments, optimisation techniques and Robust engineering methods Skills: Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability. Team player and detail oriented. Basic leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and computer-generated reports. Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) CREO, Teamcenter, Windchill Education/Experience: • Bachelor's and or/ Master’s degree in Engineering required and some business/functional knowledge and/or industry experience preferred. • 5-7 years’ experience
