As the Industrial Engineering (IE) Lead at Arjan Impex Pvt. Ltd., your role involves leading the entire IE function and driving the factory-wide productivity strategy. You will be responsible for setting efficiency benchmarks, manpower norms, and capacity planning frameworks. Your key responsibilities also include overseeing line balancing, workflow design, and factory layout optimization. It is essential to guide and mentor the IE team on best practices and continuous improvement, while partnering with senior management on cost reduction and operational planning. Moreover, you will be accountable for ensuring accurate MIS reporting and performance tracking across the shop floor, as well as owning the hiring, development, and performance management of the IE team. Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization, ensuring optimum utilization of manpower and machinery, and coordinating cross-functionally with Production, PPC, Quality & HR teams are crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, supporting factory layout improvements for better material and manpower flow and maintaining accurate production, capacity, and efficiency data are essential responsibilities.
