MERN Stack Developer

About the Company: Arjava Consultants LLP is seeking an experienced MERN Stack Developer to join our team. We are a leading Consulting firm, hiring for our client from the NBFC industry, dedicated to delivering innovative financial solutions. We value independent ownership of modules, optimized system performance, and the delivery of production-grade solutions, especially within finance or lending domains. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Node.js, Express.js, and React.js. Build and optimize MySQL databases, complex queries, and indexing strategies. Develop secure and efficient REST APIs. Handle large datasets, transactions, and reporting systems. Work on loan/financial workflows such as repayments, ledgers, and disbursements. Debug and resolve production issues efficiently. Implement background jobs and schedulers (cron jobs). Ensure application performance, scalability, and security. Requirements: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Node.js + Express. Strong experience in React.js (hooks, API handling, state management). Solid expertise in MySQL, including complex joins, query optimization, and indexing. Experience in building and consuming REST APIs. Good understanding of async programming and performance tuning. Experience with Git and deployment workflows. Familiarity with Linux servers / PM2. Ability to work independently without constant guidance. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience handling production-level applications. Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code. Understanding of real-world business logic, not just CRUD operations. Must be fluent in English and Telugu. Experience in the finance/lending/banking domain is a plus. Knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, IAM) is a plus. Experience with MongoDB (secondary DB usage) is a plus. Experience handling high-volume transactional systems is a plus. Exposure to AI-based automation/data analysis is a plus. Experience with multi-tenant systems is a plus.
