Armstrong Fluid Technology is looking for Manufacturing Engineering and NPD Manager to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and ensuring efficient production operations This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing production data, implementing process improvements, and maintaining a safe and compliant manufacturing environment Key Responsibilities:Process Optimization:Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement Conduct time and motion studies to analyze manufacturing processes Develop and implement process changes to optimize production Quality Assurance:Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain and improve product quality Investigate and resolve production-related quality issues Implement quality control measures to minimize defects Cost Reduction:Analyze production costs and identify areas for cost reduction Implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality Work with suppliers to negotiate better pricing for materials and components Manufacturing Documentation:Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and maintenance Communicate and coordinate with colleagues to implement process changes Safety and Compliance:Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Identify and mitigate safety hazards in manufacturing processes Promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing team
