As a Microsoft Azure Architect at Arrow Electronics in Bangalore, India, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the IAAS/PAAS/SAAS Public Cloud domain. Your role will involve collaborating with Arrow's internal application services group and maintaining a high level of technical aptitude in cloud and hybrid cloud solutions. You will also be expected to communicate effectively and offer excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: - Expertise in Azure Networking & Troubleshooting, including Private DNS Zones, Private Endpoints, ExpressRoute, and BGP routing - Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions following Azure best practices - Architect and implement Azure Landing Zones for streamlined governance and secure cloud adoption - Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines - Design, manage, and secure AKS clusters, including Helm and GitOps workflows - Manage Azure API Management (APIM) for secure API exposure and enforce API security best practices - Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps for infrastructure and API automation - Implement RBAC, Azure Entra ID, B2C, and External ID for security & identity management - Work on solutions like Akamai and Azure Front Door for enhanced security and performance - Mentor teams, drive cloud automation initiatives, and encourage certifications in Azure and AWS - Evaluate workload placements based on cost, performance, and security - Skilled in troubleshooting, resolving issues, and optimizing performance using Application Insights - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API Management operational mechanisms Qualifications Required: - Prior experience supporting Microsoft and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate environment on or off premise - Prior experience designing/supporting IAAS infrastructure in a public cloud strongly preferred - Prior Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, PowerBI a plus - Experience with Azure IAAS, PAAS, Networking, and security - Innovative self-starter willing to learn, test, and implement new technologies on existing and new public cloud providers - Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related experience; or advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent work experience Arrow Electronics, Inc. is an award-winning Fortune 148 company that guides innovation forward for leading technology manufacturers and service providers.
