Red Hat Ansible Engineer (India)

Position Red Hat Ansible Engineer Experience: 4 - 5 Years Location: Bangalore Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and experienced Red Hat Ansible Architect with 45 years of experience in automation, configuration management, and infrastructure orchestration. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Ansible-based automation solutions across Linux and hybrid IT environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Red Hat technologies, automation frameworks, scripting, and infrastructure operations. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. - Create and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and workflows. - Automate server provisioning, patching, configuration management, and application deployments. - Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and ITSM tools. - Manage Linux environments, primarily Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). - Perform troubleshooting and optimization of automation workflows. - Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams for automation requirements. - Develop reusable automation standards and best practices. - Support infrastructure compliance and security hardening activities. - Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams. - Provide KT sessions and guidance to operations teams. Required Skills - Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. - Good knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration. - Experience in writing Ansible playbooks, roles, and Jinja templates. - Knowledge of YAML, Python, and Shell scripting. - Understanding of Linux system administration and troubleshooting. - Experience with Git/GitLab/GitHub version control. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI. - Knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms (VMware, AWS, Azure, or OpenShift). - Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security concepts. - Experience in automation of patching, compliance, and server lifecycle management. Preferred Skills - Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation certification. - Knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift environments. - Experience with API integrations and REST APIs. - Exposure to DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Educational Qualification - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Soft Skills - Good communication and documentation skills. - Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Customer-focused and proactive approach.
