About the role
Description We are seeking an experienced VMware System Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of experience in managing and maintaining VMware infrastructure. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain VMware infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter servers, and virtual machines Monitor and troubleshoot VMware infrastructure performance issues, and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure high availability and optimal performance Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and support virtual infrastructure for various business applications Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members Participate in project planning and implementation Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field 7-12 years of experience in VMware infrastructure management Expertise in VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi Experience with VMware Horizon View and vRealize Operations Manager Strong knowledge of virtual networking, storage, and security Experience with backup and recovery solutions for virtual infrastructure Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
