Title: EHS Risk Analyst

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively searching for an EHS Risk Analyst to support the Arthrex Environmental, Health and Safety team in maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace. This entry level position provides hands-on experience in workplace safety, regulatory compliance, environmental programs, and employee training under the guidance of experienced EHS professionals while developing knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and company requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with frequent inspections to ensure compliance with internal policies and associated standards such as OSHA, EPA, ANSI & NFPA.

Assist developing and delivering employee safety training.

Participate in incident investigations and help identify root causes and corrective actions.

Involvement in the creation and maintenance of company safety teams.

Assist with hazard analysis.

Maintain EHS records, databases, permits, and regulatory documentation.

Support hazardous, universal, biomedical waste management, chemical inventory, and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) administration.

Assist with environmental compliance activities, including waste and spill prevention programs.

Assist in maintaining hazardous material storage areas and environmental compliance.

Must have flexible hours with occasional evening and weekend work.

Travel occasionally both local and abroad as necessary.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college / university required.

Degree in occupational safety, health, or closely related field preferred.

0 - 2 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety, manufacturing, laboratory, or a related technical environment.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/ Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Strong attention to detail.

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.

Ability to develop knowledge and skills necessary to interpret regulations, permits, and other technical information through training and practical experience.

Able to attend off-site training courses as necessary.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Computer skills to include Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
