DevOps Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for enterprise-scale, multi-tenant Salesforce environments supporting multiple NYS agencies. The role requires deep hands-on Salesforce DevOps expertise, leadership experience, and strong collaboration with Solution Architects, QA teams, and governance bodies. Key Responsibilities Salesforce DevOps & CI/CD Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines . Automate build, test, deployment, rollback, and release validation workflows. Manage Salesforce sandboxes, scratch orgs, environments , and refresh schedules. Implement branching strategies and version control using Git . Manage Salesforce metadata, packages, and tenant isolation for multi-agency environments. Release Management & Governance Automate deployment approvals integrated with Salesforce CoE / Architecture Review Board governance. Coordinate release planning, sandbox refreshes, and data seeding activities. Provide release readiness checklists, documentation, and training for solution teams. Track and report release metrics including defect rates, deployment success/failure, and deployment durations. Testing & Quality Automation Integrate automated unit, integration, and regression testing into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with QA teams and Solution Architects to build reusable testing frameworks . Security, Monitoring & Stability Implement monitoring, alerting, and compliance controls (e.g., Salesforce Shield ). Support Salesforce security configurations including SSO, encryption, and data isolation . Ensure stability and performance of multi-tenant Salesforce environments. Leadership & Collaboration Work closely with Developers, Solution Architects, and QA teams. Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers during CoE scaling initiatives. Act as a technical leader in DevOps best practices for Salesforce.
