Java Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, modify, debug, and maintain software code in line with functional, non-functional, and technical specifications. Follow software engineering standards, development methodologies, and release processes to ensure scalable, maintainable, and supportable solutions. Investigate and resolve issues through code reviews, debugging, and implementation of fixes or workarounds. Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Take technical ownership of assigned components and provide design support for new requirements. Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency across assigned tasks. Demonstrate software solutions to partners and stakeholders as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Java development . 3–4 years of experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot . Strong experience developing RESTful APIs . 3–4 years of experience working in Unix/Linux environments . Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment . Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes . Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Couchbase, or MongoDB . Proven experience building microservices using Java Spring Boot .
