GIS Full Stack Developer

As a GIS Fullstack Developer, your role involves designing and developing scalable web applications using Python and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Next.js. You will be responsible for building and maintaining backend services and RESTful APIs using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Node.js. Additionally, you will develop interactive geospatial web applications using mapping libraries like Leaflet, OpenLayers, or Mapbox. Collaboration with UI/UX designers, product managers, and developers to implement new product features is a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues during development, testing, and deployment while ensuring code quality through best practices, version control, and documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop scalable web applications using Python and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Next.js. - Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Node.js. - Develop interactive geospatial web applications using mapping libraries like Leaflet, OpenLayers, or Mapbox. - Work with spatial and relational databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS or MySQL. - Integrate third-party APIs and external data sources into applications. - Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and developers to implement new product features. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues during development, testing, and deployment. - Ensure code quality through best practices, version control, and documentation. Qualification Required: - B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science or MCA / M.Tech Required Skills: - Experience working with GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS. - Strong hands-on experience with Python and React.js. - Experience building map-based or geospatial web applications. - Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture. - Experience working with SQL databases. - Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows. Additional Details: - Experience with PostGIS or other spatial databases. - Familiarity with geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON and Shapefiles. - Exposure to AWS, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
