Job Description Job Title : Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake + DBT) Job Type : Full-time / Contract Experience : 5+ Years Location : Hyderabad, Telangana Responsibilities 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related roles.Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.Expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling.Experience designing dimensional models, star schemas, and data marts.Experience managing Snowflake Virtual Warehouses, resource monitors, and workload optimization.Hands-on experience with Zero-Copy Cloning, Time Travel, and Snowflake data-sharing features.Strong experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.Experience with data quality validation, testing, and monitoring frameworks.Advanced SQL skills with experience in query tuning and performance optimization.Strong understanding of ELT/ETL concepts and modern data architectures.Knowledge of Snowflake Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Snowpipe.Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT processes using dbt, Snowflake, and Airflow.Manage and optimize Snowflake Virtual Warehouses for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.Leverage Zero-Copy Cloning for development, testing, and deployment processes.Develop orchestration workflows and scheduling mechanisms using Apache Airflow.Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and ensure data reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable data solutions.Establish data governance, security, and access control standards within Snowflake.Create and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and operational runbooks. Qualification Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
