About the role
Job Description: - Knowledge of mechanical structural design & related manufacturing processes Ability to handle the project in 3D CAD modelling environments , hands on the large assembly. Bill of material and Revision management of design/manufacturing drawings Knowledge of ECN/ECR process. Basic knowledge of Hydraulic , electrical, pneumatic circuit Ability to create design documentation & calculations. User level Knowledge & exposure of PLM (Teamcenter etc.) and ERP (SAP, Oracle NetSuite etc.) is advantageous. Highly organized - Excellent follow through and follow up skills; results and delivery oriented Able to multi-task a variety of duties and work requests Key member of multidisciplinary teams providing leadership on projects from concept design to final commissioning and user handover. Provides leadership, quality assurance oversight and technical guidance to the mechanical engineers and technologists within the business unit. Having design background, in the below fields is desirable a) Fire/foam trucks b) Liquid waste management products c) Truck superstructures like load bodies, tippers etc. d) Heavy machinery Software Knowledge required - Solid Edge, Creo, Teamcenter, ERP (SAP, Oracle NetSuite)
