Oracle Apps Technical Consultant

Ascendency Infosystems is looking for Oracle Apps Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. As an Oracle Apps Technical Consultant, you specialize in developing and implementing technical solutions within Oracle's suite of enterprise applications, commonly known as Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). Your role involves working closely with clients, business analysts, and functional consultants to design, customize, and extend the Oracle EBS platform. Here are some key responsibilities associated with this role: Technical Design and Development: You analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs. You develop and customize Oracle EBS components, such as forms, reports, interfaces, and workflows using Oracle development tools like Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, PL/SQL, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF). Customization and Extensions: You configure and extend Oracle EBS functionality to meet specific business needs. This includes creating custom data fields, modifying existing application behavior, and developing extensions using Oracle's application development frameworks. System Integration: You integrate Oracle EBS with other systems, such as third-party applications or external databases. You develop and maintain interfaces and integrations using technologies like Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA), Oracle SOA Suite, or other integration tools. Performance Tuning and Optimization: You identify and resolve performance issues within Oracle EBS. This involves analyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations at the database and application levels. Technical Documentation: You create and maintain technical documentation, including functional and technical specifications, configuration documents, and development standards. You ensure that documentation is up to date and readily accessible for reference. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: You investigate and resolve technical issues reported by users or identified during testing. You perform root cause analysis, develop and implement solutions, and provide ongoing support to end-users. Testing and Quality Assurance: You participate in testing efforts, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing. You ensure that developed solutions meet the defined requirements and adhere to quality standards.
