Location: Bengaluru, KA/ Pune, MH/ Chennai, TN/ Hyderabad, TG Shift: 2 PM -11 PM Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data integration and analytics solutions within the healthcare payer domain. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in cloud-based data platforms, ETL/ELT development, data warehousing, and integration technologies, with a focus on delivering reliable and high-quality data solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration solutions. • Build and maintain scalable data platforms using cloud-based technologies and modern data engineering practices. • Develop data transformation logic using SQL, Python, and PySpark. • Integrate data from multiple source systems, APIs, and enterprise applications into data lakes and data warehouses. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and development teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. • Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are met. • Support data migration, modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives. • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support activities. • Create and maintain technical documentation, data mappings, and operational procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python/PySpark. • Experience with one or more modern data platforms such as: • Microsoft Fabric • Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Snowflake • Databricks • Azure Synapse Analytics • Experience working on Azure Cloud services, including: • Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2) • Azure Functions • Azure DevOps • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data warehousing concepts. • Experience working in the Healthcare Payer domain. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business and technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Dell Boomi or another iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solution. • Exposure to healthcare data standards and interoperability frameworks such as: • FHIR • HL7 • EDI (834, 837, 835, 270/271, etc.) • Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365 and Dataverse. • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON payloads, and enterprise integration patterns. • Knowledge of CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices in cloud environments.
