Required Skills
· Hands-on experience with Apigee , IBM API Connect (APIC) , and Kong API Gateway
Strong REST API development experience
API lifecycle management
OpenAPI (Swagger) specification
API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, API Keys)
API proxy development and policy configuration
Microservices architecture
JSON, XML
API testing using Postman or similar tools
CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Experience working in Agile environments
Preferred Skills
· Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Containerization using Docker
Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus
Knowledge of DataPower or NGINX API Gateway
Experience with API migrations between gateway platforms
Experience
· 5–8+ years of experience in API development and API Gateway technologies
3+ years of hands-on experience with one or more enterprise API management platforms (Apigee, IBM API Connect, Kong)
