Java Backend Engineer

Job Title: Java Backend Developer Location: Bangalore (Bellandur) – 5 Days Work From Office Interviews: 3 Rounds of IVs About The Role We are looking for a hands-on Java Backend Developer with strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills to build and support scalable enterprise applications. The role requires end-to-end ownership, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and REST APIs. Analyze requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Debug application issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performance. Write clean, testable code with strong unit test coverage. Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and production support activities. Collaborate with business, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams. Mentor junior developers and drive engineering best practices. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate. Solid understanding of Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, JVM, Design Patterns, and OOP principles. Strong experience with SQL, Oracle/RDBMS, query optimization, and performance tuning. Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Maven/Gradle, Git, Linux/Unix, SonarQube, JIRA. Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support experience. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes. AWS/GCP and CI/CD tools (Jenkins). ELK Stack, MongoDB/Cassandra. Exposure to Payments, Banking, or BFSI domain.
