Expertise in at least one of: Java Python C Scala Strong SQL/Database skills (highest priority) Complex queries Joins Data analysis Relational DBs (NoSQL knowledge is a plus) Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to understand and enhance existing code. Flexible to work across multiple technologies rather than sticking to one language. Good to Have Basic Frontend exposure (only 5% of work). Experience with Apache ecosystem. Credit Reporting / Financial Services domain experience is preferred. Experience 5–12+ years. Strong skills are more important than years of experience. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Work on an existing production application (not greenfield). Analyze existing codebase. Develop enhancements and new features. Resolve production-related issues. Work extensively with databases. Occasionally contribute to new initiatives, but primary focus is enhancement of mature applications.
