"Senior Technical Architect" "Responsibilities" - Evolve the platform architecture — microservices design, API contracts, data models, and integration patterns across cost calculation, quote processing, and pricing workflows. - Write and review production ready code in Go (backend services, REST/GraphQL APIs, business logic), Next.js/React, PySpark, and infrastructure-as-code. - Design and optimize data models across PostgreSQL (transactional data), MongoDB (flexible schemas), and AWS Glue catalog (structured and semi-structured data). - Architect and own the data pipeline — design AWS Glue data source connectors, Glue crawlers for schema discovery, Glue catalog management, and Glue transformation jobs that ingest from SFTP and APIs; deliver outputs to relational stores, NoSQL, data warehouse, and file-based extracts. - Lead integration architecture — design and govern integration patterns for both inbound publisher flows and outbound consumer flows; define API contracts, event schemas, and Solace topic strategies. - Lead API design — RESTful APIs, GraphQL schemas (including federation and schema-stitching) and event-driven integrations; enforce API versioning, schema contracts, and backward compatibility. - Design AI-ready APIs — build API layers that support LLM integration, structured prompt/response contracts, streaming, context injection, and extensibility for AI agents and copilot-style features. - Define frontend architecture — component design system, state management patterns, API consumption layers, and performance practices for the Admin UX and cost authoring tools in Next.js/React. - Architect AWS infrastructure — ECS/Fargate services, RDS, DocumentDB/MongoDB Atlas, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, S3, CloudWatch, AWS Glue, AWS Bedrock, and related tooling. - DevOps and platform engineering — design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Terraform modules, environment promotion strategies, secrets management, and deployment automation end to end. - Set engineering standards for code quality, testing strategy, observability (OpenTelemetry, structured logging, distributed tracing), and deployment practices. - Drive quote processing reliability — ensure accuracy, latency, and fault tolerance of quoting workflows end to end. - Reduce technical debt pragmatically; lead modernization initiatives across legacy integration points. - Mentor engineers and tech leads; run architecture reviews, improve design decision velocity, and uplift overall team capability. - Communicate architecture decisions clearly across engineering, product, and business stakeholders. "Required Skills" - Deep expertise in architecture, software engineering, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, integrations, DevOps, and modern AI-enabled platforms. - Proficiency in Go, Next.js/React, PySpark, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS Glue, AWS infrastructure, and DevOps tools. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide engineering teams. - Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to various stakeholders. - Hands-on experience in writing production-ready code and actively participating in architecture and design decisions. "Desirable Skills" - Experience with AI integration and AI-ready APIs. - Familiarity with frontend architecture and performance optimization. - Knowledge of modern data modeling and data pipeline optimization techniques. - Previous experience in reducing technical debt and modernizing legacy systems. - Certification in relevant cloud platforms or technologies. "Education Qualification" - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Additional certifications in cloud platforms or relevant technologies are a plus.
