As a Security Tester specializing in Vulnerability Testing (VT), Penetration Testing (PT), and SQL, your role will involve assessing and identifying security vulnerabilities in our systems to safeguard sensitive data. You will be responsible for: - Conducting Vulnerability Testing (VT) and Penetration Testing (PT) to pinpoint potential security risks. - Performing SQL injections and other security assessments to uncover vulnerabilities. - Analyzing test results and offering recommendations for enhancing security measures. - Collaborating with the development team to implement security solutions and patches. - Staying updated on the latest security trends and threats to proactively address potential risks. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Proven experience in Vulnerability Testing (VT) and Penetration Testing (PT). - Strong knowledge of SQL and practical experience with SQL injections. - Familiarity with security tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nmap. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. - Strong communication skills to effectively convey security findings and recommendations. Desirable skills that would be advantageous for this role include certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or CISSP, experience with web application security testing, knowledge of network security principles, and familiarity with compliance standards like PCI DSS and GDPR. For education qualifications, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field along with relevant security certifications or training programs would be beneficial for this role.
