About the role
As a Hands-On Tech Lead at Ascent Business Technology Inc., you will be responsible for actively coding, architecting solutions, and leading a small engineering squad in building a next-generation enterprise No-Code/Low-Code platform using Java + React. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building platforms from scratch and working closely with product leadership. It is not a managerial-only role; you are expected to contribute directly to production code. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Gurugram, India. You must have AI Enterprise skills for platform development. Key Responsibilities: - Lead development of platform components using Java/Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL. - Design and build metadata-driven modules, workflow engines, dynamic form builders, configurable business rules, and REST APIs. - Own technical delivery of assigned modules including architecture, coding, code reviews, performance optimization. - Help build core no-code capabilities such as visual workflows, dynamic UI rendering, role-based access control, multi-tenant architecture, and configurable data models. - Translate product requirements into scalable platform designs. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in software development. - Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot/Hibernate), React, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, or similar RDBMS. - Experience building SaaS applications, microservices, and config-driven systems. - Solid understanding of backend architecture, frontend component design, API contracts, and database modeling. - Comfortable working in fast-moving product environments. - Experience with workflow engines, rule engines, Docker/Kubernetes, Keycloak/OAuth, low-code/no-code platforms. - Exposure to enterprise software, banking/compliance/GRC domains, and AI integration (LLM APIs is a plus).
