URGENT HIRING BACKEND DEVELOPER (NODE.JS & MONGODB) Location: Delhi, India Salary: Up to INR 2,000,000 per annum Department: Engineering Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with a strong background in Node.js and MongoDB to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of professional backend development experience and a proven track record of building secure, scalable, and high-performance server-side applications. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and RESTful APIs that power a growing digital product ecosystem. Key Responsibilities 1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing backend applications using Node.js. 2. Build and manage backend services using frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify. 3. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices. 4. Design and optimize MongoDB schemas, collections, and indexing strategies. 5. Implement efficient aggregation pipelines and ensure optimal database performance. 6. Monitor and improve database scalability and reliability. 7. Develop and maintain secure RESTful APIs and GraphQL services. 8. Ensure seamless integration between backend services and frontend applications. 9. Implement authentication, authorization, and API security best practices. 10. Identify and resolve application bottlenecks. 11. Optimize server performance, memory usage, and database query execution. 12. Implement caching mechanisms such as Redis to improve response times and scalability. 13. Implement robust security measures, including JWT, OAuth, encryption, and input validation. 14. Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection practices. 15. Develop comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai. 16. Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards. 17. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance. Technical Requirements Experience - Minimum 6+ years of backend engineering experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. - Strong experience building enterprise-grade applications and scalable backend systems. - Deep expertise in MongoDB, including indexing, aggregation pipelines, and sharding concepts. - Hands-on experience with ODM frameworks such as Mongoose. - Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and the Node.js Event Loop. - Experience designing and implementing microservices and event-driven architectures. - Proficiency with Git version control. - Experience working with Docker and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
