About the role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and applications through systematic testing and validation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a critical role in identifying and reporting defects, maintaining test documentation, and contributing to the overall improvement of our software development process. Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and functionality. Perform functional, performance, and regression testing to detect and report defects or usability issues. Collaborate with the development team to identify test requirements and validate software design and architecture. Document and maintain test artifacts, including test cases, test scripts, and test results for future reference and regression testing. Conduct thorough bug analysis, tracking, and reporting using appropriate tools. Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and adherence to quality standards. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging testing methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 4 - 8 proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, preferably in software development or a related industry. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and must have worked in Web API, Postman Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Proficiency in test case creation, test script development, and execution. Experience with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and test automation. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing principles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
