Functional Lead

We are looking for an ERP Functional Lead who can contribute to selling, shaping, defining and implementing our ERP engagements. Involved from an early stage of pre-sales, you will be a key member of the team that leads the client through to successful delivery. Your key accountability will be to provide leadership for a functional domain from initial contact with customer through deployment and support. You will provide industry and solution leadership at every stage and act as a trusted advisor to the client throughout the relationship. Key areas of focus are value and benefits management, solution design, functional architecture, solutions landscape design as well as business input to proposal development, client sales activities and project planning. Job Responsibilities: Support and lead pre-sales workshops Contribute to the definition of solutions based on Odoo ERP help define engagement outcomes and business benefits, high-level scope, implementation approach and effort estimates Build strong client relationships throughout the pre-sales process Participate in client presentations Fulfil functional lead role on ERP engagements participating in all phases from envisioning and planning through execution and stabilization Contribute to the definition of ERP technical and application architectures Lead detailed design, development (Configure/Customize) and testing phases Should have strong functional knowledge in all functional areas related to various industries in different verticals Must be well versed with SDLC and build artifacts related to gathering functional requirements, Testing, UAT and Training Must be able to adapt to both waterfall and agile project methodologies Contribute to QA reviews of ongoing projects Be a subject matter expert for Odoo ERP and industry related topics Skills Required: 6+ years of client-facing experience in Odoo ERP consulting Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or comparable science degree, or MCA Strong consulting acumen and understanding of Odoo ERP from a functional and implementation perspective Must have good knowledge of Odoo third-party Apps and their integration in order to fulfil customer needs Good exposure to any three industries out of Manufacturing, Retail, Supply Chain, Health Care, and Hospitality Leisure Must demonstrate experience in Business Process Analysis and Design and implement Odoo ERP projects locally or globally Must have good skills in setting up of different environments (QA/Prod) and deploying Odoo solutions on-premises, remotely and on cloud Fluency (written and oral) in English MBA/Master s degree preferred
