Analytical Consultant - Python/SQL

Job Description: We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Analytical Consultant with 5-10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Python, SQL, and Banking Domain expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured data, deriving actionable business insights, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven solutions. The role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent programming skills, and hands-on experience working with banking data, including customer analytics, risk, fraud, lending, payments, or financial operations. The candidate should be capable of working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze large-scale banking datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities. - Develop analytical models and data-driven solutions using Python and SQL. - Extract, clean, transform, and validate data from multiple data sources. - Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decisions. - Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover meaningful insights. - Design and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and reporting. - Collaborate with business teams to understand analytical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. - Develop reusable analytical frameworks and automation scripts using Python. - Monitor data quality and ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of datasets. - Support business functions with customer segmentation, portfolio analysis, profitability analysis, and performance tracking. - Work closely with technology and business teams to deliver analytical projects within timelines. - Prepare presentations and communicate analytical findings to stakeholders and senior management. - Identify opportunities for process optimization through data analysis. - Ensure compliance with banking data governance, security, and regulatory standards. Required Skills: 1. Seaborn Ideal Profile: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline. - Master's degree is preferred. - 5-10 years of experience in Data Analytics. - Strong experience using Python for analytical solutions. - Advanced hands-on SQL experience. - Experience working on Banking analytics projects. - Experience handling large datasets and complex analytical problems. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to interpret complex business problems using data. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Experience working with cross-functional teams. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. - Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. - Experience delivering analytics projects in Agile environments is an added advantage. .
