DESCRIPTION We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Software Development Engineer to join our technology team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who have a strong foundation in programming, a passion for software development, and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies. As a Software Development Engineer, you will work on developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical discussions, and gain hands-on experience with modern software development practices and technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, good problem-solving abilities, and a genuine interest in building software solutions. Knowledge of the MERN Stack will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain reliable and scalable software applications. Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. Participate in code reviews and technical discussions. Learn and implement new technologies, tools, and software development practices. Contribute to improving application quality, performance, and reliability. Follow software development best practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Basic knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, or any other programming language . Understanding of fundamental Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases . Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly. Preferred Qualifications Experience or exposure to one or more of the following is an added advantage: MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js). AI tools that improve software development productivity. Cloud platforms, preferably AWS . SQL and NoSQL database systems. Version control systems such as Git . Open-source projects or contributions. Debugging and troubleshooting complex technical issues. HTML and JavaScript. Modern software development frameworks and technologies.
