Mechanical Engineer Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Reports to: The Management Job Overview: Mechanical engineers develop, design, build, test, and inspect mechanical devices and systems, such as machines, tools, and engines. Since mechanical engineering is a very broad field, they work in a variety of different industries designing a wide range of products. Most mechanical engineers work in manufacturing, research and development, or at companies that offer engineering services. Responsibilities and Duties: Interpret engineering drawing make method Statements for all critical erection works Modularizations of erections of projects sites during tendering execution Stage Knowledge about erection tools tackles hydraulic equipment for erection .Must have worked at construction Projects To ensure that the erection is done as per the drawings provided by the Engineering Department. To ensure that the work at site is done as per the safety norms. Ensuring proper and timely documentation to Client/Consultant/Accounts Department/Erection vendors Preparation of supporting documents for erection invoices/supply invoices Handling Project activities comprising site Inspection Readiness, Erection, Commissioning and final plant handover. Have independently handled project activities from customer Inspection at our works to final payment release. Project planning and scheduling of project activities Coordination with in house engineering and customer operations group to deliver Performance Guarantee tests. Training the customer about Work Instruction Procedures. Plan Executing the installation work at customer site. Cost Time control of the installation work. Ensure Safety measures during E C Activities Risk Mitigation during Site Activities. Inspection checking of proper installation of Burners, Oil Pumping heating and filtering unit, Oil and gas valve rack, BMS Panel Hot Air Generator etc. Testing troubleshooting of all the supplied equipment and dry run test. Review equipment submittals of commissioning scope of systems and approved compliance of the systems/equipment as per the project requirements Assist procurement personnel in procuring mechanical equipment, materials and services, ensuring that the work produced complies with customer objectives and procedures Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineer Exp: 8years above Job Category: Engineering Job Type: Full Time Job Location: Kolkata
