Senior Software Engineer - Front End

As a Senior Software Engineer Front-End Development in Assurant GCC-India, your role will involve developing responsive, high-performance web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript. You will be responsible for implementing server-side rendering, static site generation, and incremental static regeneration with Next.js. Additionally, you will collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create exceptional web experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Develop responsive, high-performance web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript. - Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and incremental static regeneration (ISR) with Next.js. - Build reusable UI components and design systems using Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or CSS Modules. - Integrate with APIs (REST, GraphQL) and headless CMS platforms like Optimizely. - Work with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes into interactive experiences. - Identify and address UI performance bottlenecks to ensure rapid loading times and smooth user interactions. - Write unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar tools. - Ensure UI functionality and aesthetics are consistent across various browsers and devices. - Contribute technical documentation for front-end architecture components and best practices. - Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies, tools, and best practices. Qualifications Required: - Overall 8 years of experience in the software engineering domain. - 5 years of front-end development experience with React.js. - 5 years of hands-on Next.js experience in production environments. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (SASS). - Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development. - Familiarity with API integration (REST, GraphQL) and state management. - Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright). - Understanding of CI/CD workflows, Git, and Agile development practices. - Optimizely CMS Certification is a huge plus. - Knowledge of Angular is a plus.
