Software Engineer

As a Full Stack Engineer at Assurant, GCC India, you will play a crucial role in providing technical and delivery leadership for enterprise-grade applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading end-to-end technical design and architecture for complex full-stack systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams. - Providing technical leadership to a team of engineers by setting development standards and guiding implementation approaches. - Breaking down complex features into well-defined technical tasks, estimates, and sprint deliverables. - Architecting and developing secure, versioned, and well-documented APIs and backend services using modern .NET platforms. - Driving frontend architecture using modern SPA frameworks to ensure a consistent user experience. - Establishing and enforcing built-in quality practices including automated testing strategies and CI/CD standards. - Leading cloud architecture and deployment strategies utilizing Azure or AWS services. - Championing application security by driving secure SDLC practices and compliance with industry standards. - Mentoring and coaching engineers through code reviews and fostering continuous improvement. Qualifications required for this position include: Education: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience: - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with technical leadership of full-stack or .NET-based enterprise solutions. - Strong expertise in React, C#, .NET 6/7/8, ASP.NET Core, NodeJS, SQL Server, and NoSQL platforms. - Advanced experience in designing APIs, CI/CD pipeline design, and cloud architecture using Azure or AWS services. - Strong security leadership with hands-on experience in OWASP practices and secure coding standards. - Demonstrated ability to design and implement AI-assisted engineering workflows.
