Drainage / Hydrology Engineer

Demonstrated ability to independently plan, model, and optimize stormwater systems, from catchment analysis and concept stage through to detailed design and GFC deliverables Strong command of hydrologic and hydraulic modelling tools (SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SewerCAD/StormCAD, Civil 3D, QGIS, TUFLOW, MIKE, HY-8), applied to solve complex drainage challenges Proven expertise in rainfall runoff estimation and flood modelling using standard methods (SCS, CWC UGH, Rational Method), with clear and defensible design assumptions Ability to deliver code-compliant designs (CWC, Indian, and international standards) for culverts, bridges, river training works, flood protection systems, and rainwater harvesting and reuse networks Track record of producing high-quality, coordinated GFC drawings (plans, L-sections, cross-sections, GA details) with strict adherence to QA/QC standards Strong experience in technical reporting, BOQs, cost estimation, and tender documentation, ensuring accuracy and constructability Capable of reviewing and challenging client/contractor submissions, resolving design conflicts, and driving timely approvals with complete and coordinated deliverables Ensure minimal design-related changes during construction through robust first-pass design, proactive risk identification, and interdisciplinary coordination Lead and mentor teams to achieve on-time, high-quality delivery under demanding project schedules Effective communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders and multidisciplinary interfaces Practical exposure to site conditions and execution, ensuring designs are realistic and implementable Experience in international/overseas projects, code knowledge is an added advantage Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
