For company profile, please visit the website :- www.assystem.com Job Description Job Summary Design & Specification Develop and review instrumentation and control system designs, drawings, and specifications. Select appropriate instruments, sensors, transmitters, and control systems for process applications. Prepare datasheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations. Project Execution Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling of instrumentation activities. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, process, etc.) during project execution. Support construction and commissioning of instrumentation systems. Maintenance & Calibration Develop and implement calibration procedures and schedules for field instruments. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems. Ensure all instruments meet required accuracy, safety, and compliance standards. Control Systems Support configuration, testing, and optimization of PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems. Maintain and update control logic, instrument loops, and interlocks as per process requirements. Compliance & Safety Ensure all instrumentation work complies with industry standards (ISA, IEC, API, etc.). Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety procedures. Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and risk assessments. Continuous Improvement Recommend and implement improvements to instrumentation systems for better reliability and efficiency. Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices. Qualifications Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field. Experience: Typically 3–10 years of experience in instrumentation design, installation, or maintenance (depending on job level). Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of process instrumentation (flow, pressure, level, temperature, etc.) Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA systems, and fieldbus communication (HART, Modbus, Profibus) Familiarity with P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control narratives Understanding of hazardous area classifications and intrinsically safe systems Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities Good communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and safety awareness Additional Information We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
