Server Administrator (Vasanthanagar)

Job Description We are looking for an experienced Server Administrator and Service Delivery Lead to oversee enterprise infrastructure operations while leading a technical support team. The successful candidate will ensure high availability of critical infrastructure, drive operational excellence, maintain SLA compliance, and act as the primary escalation point for infrastructure-related incidents. This role is based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates , and requires relocation. Only candidates who are willing to relocate to Sharjah, UAE, should apply. This role combines robust technical expertise in Windows server administration, virtualization, cloud platforms, and infrastructure management with leadership, stakeholder management, and service delivery responsibilities. Key Responsibilities - Lead day-to-day infrastructure operations and service delivery activities. - Manage Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, storage, and backup systems. - Ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability of enterprise infrastructure. - Lead incident, problem, and change management activities in accordance with ITIL best practices. - Monitor SLA and KPI performance and implement continual service improvement initiatives. - Act as the technical escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents. - Manage and mentor L1 and L2 support engineers. - Coordinate maintenance windows, upgrades, and infrastructure projects. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve complex technical issues. - Produce operational reports, capacity planning, risk assessments, and service review documentation. - Ensure compliance with security policies, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements. - Support cloud infrastructure and virtualization technologies where applicable.
