Associate - Digital Data Governance

Role Overview: As a Digital Data Governance Senior Analyst at AstraZeneca, you will be part of the GBS Data Office team, providing governance and management services for digital marketing data within the United States Commercial organization. Your role will involve technical expertise to monitor data quality, investigate and resolve issues, and support continuous improvements in data management. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support by onboarding new data sources in collaboration with IT, procurement, vendors, and business users. Support ingestion of new files, profile data quality, review test submissions, and assist in standardizing data within the AZ data platform. - Resolve data issues by triaging identified problems, working with providers to fix incorrect data at the source, validating implementations, identifying root causes of data quality issues, and proposing process and system improvements. - Monitor data quality through reporting tools, system reconciliations, and data analysis to proactively identify and resolve potential data issues. Monitor incoming data files and feeds, flagging issues for resolution. - Support documentation of data solutions and business rules, and provide reporting on team activities. Update data management and user forums on initiative progress and issue resolution. Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of database concepts and tools such as SQL - Proactive, analytical, and investigative mindset - Customer focus with strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Desirable skills include understanding of data quality and management principles, experience with data quality profiling tools, knowledge of digital marketing, and ability to present data and reports in an easily understandable format.
