About the role
Typical Accountabilities - Provide project management expertise to facilitate the creation, interpretation, and optimization of project plans. - Ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery by thoroughly evaluating submitted project plans and addressing any identified gaps. - Communicate new processes or strategies clearly to all project teams to establish consistent and standardized future procedures. - Serve as a technical owner within Scientific Project Management by maintaining comprehensive knowledge of tools, processes, and systems utilized. - Establish an efficient project environment by scheduling tasks, managing risks and opportunities, tracking progress, and accurately controlling resources and costs. - Stay updated on best practices and advancements in scientific project management to ensure continued relevance and effectiveness. - Identify opportunities to enhance methodologies and propose practical solutions to improve clinical development workflows. - Apply project management techniques to address process inefficiencies and effectively resolve common challenges. - Contribute to the development, sharing, and support of new tools, techniques, or procedures that enhance the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of operations within the scientific project management domain. Qualifications and Skills Essential: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; Experience in scientific project management; Knowledge of applicable legislation and emerging developments in project, change, business improvement, strategy management, and scientific project management; Experience as a project or change manager in pharmaceutical or clinical environments; Ability to apply statistical techniques to analyze data from clinical studies or other relevant areas. Desirable: Advanced degree in the relevant field; Professional certification; Comprehensive knowledge of various aspects of scientific project management.
