Director Axial Technology Data Design Information Architect

Role Overview: As the Information Architecture lead at AstraZeneca, you will be part of the Axial Technology Data Design team with full accountability to lead the design and governance of information models and architectures, master data, transformation rules, metadata, and data lineage for global processes. Your role will involve understanding business requirements and translating them into a realistic IT delivery plan, ensuring a balance between business requirements and practicalities of delivering a technology platform. You will collaborate with the Enterprise Data & Information Architecture team, developing ways of working and ensuring a coordinated approach to information architecture across AstraZeneca. Key Responsibilities: - Establish a strong working relationship with Enterprise Information and Data Architecture groups - Collaborate with the Enterprise Data & Information Architecture team to develop a deep understanding of business priorities and data requirements - Be accountable for the alignment and evolution of AZ information Architecture, Data Model, Taxonomy, Glossary, and Ontologies - Deliver data & information design through coordinated Information Architecture services and design across solutions - Manage architectural alignment tasks during the project lifecycle and ensure compliance with Information Standards and Enterprise Models Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or Data Technology related field - Significant experience and knowledge within the domain - Experience in data/information architecture, analysis, and engineering skills - Understanding of data structure and technology based on business use case - Experience in data modelling technologies and Agile data definition scrums Desirable Qualifications: - Post-graduate degree in MIS or Data Management - Experience in data/information architect role with practical examples of designing and providing data engineering blueprints - Knowledge of Information and Data Governance frameworks and their application - Experience in Snowflake and SAP S/4 HANA data model Role Overview: As the Information Architecture lead at AstraZeneca, you will be part of the Axial Technology Data Design team with full accountability to lead the design and governance of information models and architectures, master data, transformation rules, metadata, and data lineage for global processes.
