About the role
We are looking for an engineer to work with who can imagine and innovate solutions for the variety of challenges we face in our R&D process.
Candidates with the following skills are encouraged to apply for the job:
Designing and developing PCBs (using any of the following: Eagle, KiCAD, EasyEDA etc) Designing, developing and enhancing electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic devices. Identifying and debugging/resolving faults in electro-mechanical systems/electronic systems as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications. Familiar with various motors, sensors, and their controls & troubleshooting problems. Creating automated systems and software to control them. Perform safety checks to ensure design plans are feasible in various conditions. Familiar with developing RTOS and firmware. (Optional but added advantage)
Having the following features and capabilities would make you stand out from the crowd.
Assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and training junior Engineers, Apprentices and interns. Attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to network with others and stay on top of field advancements. Experience working with tech startups, especially those related to robotics and hardware products.
