Lead AI Architect / Tech Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Lead AI Engineer to architect, design, and develop our next-generation AI-enabled software product. This is a leadership role for an experienced engineer who is passionate about building scalable AI systems, mentoring technical teams, and driving end-to-end product development from concept to deployment. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in AI/ML with strong software engineering and system architecture skills, enabling the delivery of production-grade AI applications that solve real-world business challenges. Job Summary The role requires expertise in AI technologies, full-stack software development, and solution architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing the technical solution, developing key product components, and providing technical guidance to the engineering team to ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality product delivery. Key Responsibilitie s Architect and design the overall solution for an AI-enabled software product, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. Design and develop AI capabilities, including intelligent agents, Small Language Models (SLMs), LLM integration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), image recognition, OCR, and other AI/ML components. Develop core product components across the full technology stack, including backend services, APIs, databases, and frontend applications. Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to support product development. Review solution designs and code, provide technical guidance to the development team, and support resolution of complex technical issues. Establish quality standards, support test strategy, and promote engineering best practices such as code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. 8+ years of experience in software development, including experience in designing and developing AI-enabled applications. Strong proficiency in Python and experience with modern full-stack technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, FastAPI, Java/Spring Boot, or similar frameworks). Hands-on experience with LLMs, SLMs, AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and computer vision/image recognition. Experience with AI frameworks and tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and relational/NoSQL/vector databases. Strong understanding of software architecture, microservices, API design, and secure, scalable application development. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical mentoring skills.
