Job Summary: (0 2 years / 2 4 years of experience in mechanical or electrical design) The Design Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) will be responsible for designing and optimizing mechanical or electrical systems for solar ground-mounted projects. This role involves creating detailed designs, conducting simulations, and ensuring that all designs meet technical specifications and industry standards and concern government bodies rules and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Design Development: Create and develop detailed mechanical or electrical designs for solar ground-mounted systems, including structural supports, wiring layouts, and system integration. Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives. Develop design plans and timelines to meet project deadlines. Simulation and Analysis: Perform simulations and analysis to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs. Utilize software tools to model and test design concepts. Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. Conduct design reviews and make necessary adjustments to meet safety and performance requirements. Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, and installation instructions. Maintain accurate records of design changes and project updates. Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of designs into the overall project. Provide technical support and guidance during the implementation phase. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for design improvements and optimization. Recommend solutions to enhance system performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
