Overview AtkinsRalis has an opportunity for an Apprentice to join the Rivers, Dams, Maritime & Coastal (RDMC) Design Team in Bangalore / Mumbai The RDMC team forms part of the infrastructure (Environmental and Water Management) group within AtkinsRalis' Water & Environment business We deliver projects for both UK and international clients, typically in the following areas Flood defence schemes Hydraulic structures (eg, dams, weirs, gates) Ports and maritime infrastructure As a member of this team, you will be exposed to a broad range of engineering disciplines including river and coastal engineering, hydrology and hydraulics, and structural detailing Your role Assist in the structural design and analysis of maritime infrastructure using relevant codes (e g , IS, BS, Eurocode, American codes) Support modeling and analysis tasks using Robot, Staad pro Structural Analysis and other engineering software Help prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project deliverables Stay updated with industry trends, safety standards, and sustainable engineering practices About You Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent to MTECH Structures preferred Basic understanding of river and coastal engineering, including flood defence design and refurbishment of hydraulic structures Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steelwork design principles Awareness of health and safety considerations in design and construction Understanding of UK health and safety legislation (e g , CDM Regulations 2015) is desirable Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prepare basic sketches Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Good presentational skill Managing own time Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving project needs Ability to follow quality procedures and maintain high standards in work Reward & benefits Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive at every stage of your life and your career This Includes Self-Medical Insurance Generous annual leave balance Seize every opportunity to sharpen your skills, expand your expertise, and be recognized for the impact you make About AtkinsRalis We're AtkinsRalis, a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization We connect people, data and technology to transform the world's'infrastructure and energy systems Together, with our industry partners and clients, and our global team of consultants, designers, engineers and project managers, we can change the world We're committed to leading our clients across our various end markets to engineer a better future for our planet and its people Find out more
